So You Think You Can Dance Season 5 Premiere will airs on Thursday May 21st, 2009 at 08:00 pm via FOX. The fifth season begins with a two-hour episode. Contestants will audition in front of the judges in hopes of getting sent straight through to Vegas. If not, they can either be asked to stick around for the choreography round, or they can be sent straight home.
