Sheriff Carter, still reeling from the departures of Zoe and Tess in the last episode, goes for a jog and runs into the enigmatic Dr. Trevor Grant (James Callis). Since this is Eureka we’re talking about, you can go ahead and assume that Carter wasn’t supposed to meet the man who played Baltar in Battlestar Galactica, and that something has gone very, very wrong while Carter was out jogging.
