The average installed WordPress blog about 5 plugins! Today just happened to our 4000 plugins available plugins. (Who is also integrated into the world WordPress 2.7 or higher.) look at the plugins you use and love, visit the author, form, and drop them a note thanking. (Or Paypal!) Look on the links in the plug-in “author page”, and also donate directly address whether a Paypal.

Today at WordCamp Indonesia Matt showing WordPress.tv this is video blogging on wordpress or called Vlogging. The person who do video blogging also call videobloggers, below some quote from Offcial wordpress blog :

Cell phones equipped with  cameras, digital  cameras  that  can  record  short  video sequences, or  inexpensive video cameras equipped with  microphones make  it easy  to acquire  the  raw material of a videoblog.  Videoblogs  are  usually  accompanied  by  text  or  still images,  and  some  vlogs  include metadata  (data  that describe the content of a ?le, such as keywords)  to  further annotate  the site. Digital  video-editing  software  allows  videobloggers  to  cut and paste  sequences  and  integrate  audio  (background music, special  effects,  and  so  forth).  Like  a  text  blog,  a  videoblog  is updated  regularly,  typically  includes  personal  re?ections,  often contains comments on other sites, and offers a simple mechanism for subscription and delivery through RSS feeds.

Today, i get a twitterfeed from http://twitter.com/wordpress through by my twitter , Finally that version 2.6 of WordPress is available to download only 1,2 MB (.zip), i try to check from wordpressblog and the lastest post written by matt not mattcutts , matt says:

“I’m happy to announce that version 2.6 of WordPress.org is now available, almost a month ahead schedule. Version 2.6 “Tyner,” named for jazz pianist McCoy Tyner”

Congratulations!! to wordpress’s developer. But i’m still confused what does it related to the jazz pianist Mccoy Tyner??

The one feature that make me interested was “Gears”- Turbo-speed your blogging, you can look this option into your WP-admin dashboard, see it below

the function of the turbo, to cache commonly-used Javascript and CSS which can speed up the loading of some pages like i’ve done. It’s cool….another feature that i liked was “word count’, So you will know how many word in your post. for further information about Gears you can visit this page and for the firefox user you can dowload and install it.
