I guess that nearly all of you know something about SEO skills before reading this article, so I will not do any definition or description about simple SEO skills here. The only thing I need to say about simple SEO is: never forget to add the keywords in Title, Description and content, and remember to put the keywords at the beginning of each. That’s all.

There are something important during writing articles according to SEO skills:

1. Try your best to make visitors to understand your articles. NO MISS TYPE, NO CONFUSING WORDS, NO SUBJECTLESS ARTILES.
2. A long page (article) is always better than a short one. A long page may reduce the display ratio of your target keywords, however, it will also bring you a large number of related keywords.
3. Do not add a three words’ keywords in a 300 words’ post, this will do no help for your reader and SEO.
4. The internal link is important. So, do remember and related articles under every post page. The site will be a circle at this time. Circle is much better than tree style for search engine, especially for Google Seach.
5. Try to forget all SEO skills when you are writing articles. Put your visitors at the top. The article you wrote is for readers always, intead of search engine spiders.
6. Never be grudged to give outlink. If you copied some paragraphs from other site, you’d better sign it, like “Take these from xxxxx site”. This will never reduce the score of Google Rank.

I am writing SEO articles for my company as well, more than 1000 words each time. It has clear subject, and the whole post is divided into several parts which is known by only one sight of my visitors. And I got many useful related keywords through these articles.

For example, I wrote an article named Partition Magic and its server partition alternative last week.

This article has more than 1000 words. Though, my main keywords is Partition Magic Alternative, however, the site is already NO.1 in Google Search results. This article will definitely add scores for this keywords on our site. After do analytics of this page, I got great number of related keywords, and it’s traffic increse quickly everyday.

You just need to do a research before you write the keywords articles, find the first three on Google Search results, check them out, do as they did, and then add more, you may have bigger chance to catch them up.
