Apple on Friday began accepting preorders for multimedia iPad – both Wi-Fi and 3G models – with reservations limited to two per customer and the hardware for free shipping on April 3 launch date
Apple is set to take preorders for the highly anticipated multimedia device iPad Friday, and the company’s Web site will begin accepting advance orders from customers at 8:30 pm Eastern, 5:30 am Pacific
The iPad begins at $ 499 for the 16GB model with Wi-Fi, going up to $ 599 for the 32GB and $ 699 for the 64GB. The models with both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, compatible only with AT & T in the U.S., with $ 130 premium.
Apple iPad introduced in late January and announced the launch of 60-day window for Wi-Fi model, and the 90-day waiting 3G option. April 3 launch comes just days after the deadline
