JavaScript intolerance
You will not make a topsy-turvy site? yes, make it sexy. JavaScript makes navigation sexy, but ironically it currently cloaks the content from Google’s all- seeing burning eye…Basically Google recognise how sexy JavaScript can be but also recognises, in its benevolent heart, that it might not be accessible to every visitor (those too lazy or ignorant to download JavaScript runtime). Therefore Google will always penalise JavaScript-heavy sites-unless you have the foresight to incorporate a pure HTML or XML sitemap, accessible from the home page, that will allow Google to index the entire site regardless of the implementation of JavaScript.
In a strange twist of fate it has become apparent that users who do not have JavaScript enabled on their web browsers may find it difficult to fully access Google’s Adwords in terms of how the adverts are actually displayed. Why, oh why is Google so blind to the fact that most web users are going to want JavaScript-enabled sites? Surely they could incorporate a reader into Googlebot to elements of JavaScript with the same gusto as sites that are constructed out of pure HTML.
